Danette's Personal Teaching Goals

My goal as a teacher is to provide students with an education and experiences which seeks to develop their full potential and to foster understanding, desire for learning, respect for others, value of diversity, freedom of thought and expression, enjoyment of learning, awareness and ownership of and personal responsibility for global citizenship.

Teachers play a key role in delivering a well-rounded education for students -one that neither begins nor ends in the classroom alone, and includes intellectual, social, moral, and emotional growth.

I assume responsibility to prepare students for global citizenship, as well as to teach them basic human values, and to fulfill the educational needs of all students of all abilities in a social environment that fosters individual and collaborative, creative expression and experiences. With this the opportunity for experimentation, Innovation, knowledge, challenge, and with end results of growth, excellence, maturity and confidence.
